My name is Jim Handley, and I am an experienced BACP accredited Counsellor, Psychotherapist and Supervisor based in Lymington, Hampshire near.Southampton.
I have supported many people in dealing with the pressures and problems that affect all areas of their lives, including difficulties in relationships,bereavement,retirement, depression, anxiety,stress, self esteem issues ,trauma ,divorce , sexuality, parenting and step parenting, anger management, and personal development.
My aim as a psychotherapist is to provide a safe, confidential space within which to explore an individual's sense of self and any difficulties that they may have.
Beside my extensive training as a psychotherapist working with individuals of both genders I also have specialist training and expertise in couples counselling and relationship counselling.
I am passionate about helping couples and individuals to find a way forward with their problems, however those problems present themselves.If you need to see me I will endever to arranage an appointment for you as soon as possible.
Counselling and Psychotherapy provide us with the tools to deal with life in a more satisfying way. They are powerful and effective in enabling us to make changes in our lives, and to benefit from those changes. In particular you may feel empowered; this means stronger, braver, more defined and clearer about what you want in your life and how to bring it about.
I have evening and Saturday appointments and I also work on Skype.
I offer short and long term counselling and psychotherapy, intensive therapy, relationship guidance, and anger management. I work with individuals and couples, in Lymington, the New Forest area, Southampton and West Hampshire
LocationMy practice is based in Lymington, Hampshire at the edge of the New Forest between Southampton and Bournemouth. It is within easy reach of Poole and Bournemouth .
I provide a supportive environment with complete confidentiality, and adhere to the British Association of Counsellors and Psychotherapist’s code of ethics
